On Tuesday, the labor department's Occupational Health and Safety Administration cited a pharmaceutical and, biotech manufacturer from Eatontown.  The company failed to protect dozens of employees from COVID-19 at its  Monmouth County facility, OSHA said in a news statement. Missing Woman Found By Central Jersey Hiker In 675-Acre Park A hiker at a 675-acre park in Central Jersey found a woman in distress who had been missing since Saturday, authorities said. Monroe Township Police Department received a 9-1-1 call at 3:51 p.m. on Monday from Emma Bodmer, who was hiking the trails in Thompson Park, police said on Facebook. Bodmer ran out of the woods to escort rescue units to the distressed woman who had suffered injuries to her feet, police said. 100 Central Jersey Firefighters Braved Blaze During Blizzard, 3 Hurt More than 100 firefighters battled a major house fire as this week's blizzard ramped up in Central Jersey, authorities said. The fire started in a wood-framed, mixed-use building on Broad Street in Manasquan shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday.  The building’s owner told News 12 that three people lived on the upper floors of the building and that they were able to escape. Two residents and a local firefighter were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries, fire officials said. A malfunctioning ventilator fan was suspected to be the origin of the fire, according to initial reports.
