Man, 40, Stabbed Dead In Trenton
A 40-year-old Trenton man was stabbed dead Thursday, Oct. 19, authorities said. Corey Jones was rushed to the hospital around 9 p.m. after being found unresponsive with a stab wound on Cross Street and Kersey Alley, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said. Jones was pronounced dead at Capital Health Regional Medical Center. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. Trenton's Balil Lewis Slain In Street 'Had Heart Of Gold'
A 37-year-old man from Trenton was shot dead in the middle of the street last weekend, authorities said. Man Fatally Shot At Home In Mercer County: Prosecutor
A 36-year-old man from Mercer County was fatally shot in his home, authorities said. The victim has been identified as Anthony Irizarry of Lawrence Township, they said. At approximately 12:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 11, Lawrence Township police responded to a residence on Mendrey Court after receiving a 911 phone call that someone had been shot, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Police ID Victim In Fatal Mercer County Crash
Police have identified the person killed in a single-vehicle crash in Mercer County. Jamson Lysius, 43, of Trenton, was killed in the crash, according to West Windsor police. Police did not say who was driving in the crash. Six other people were injured in the crash, two critically, police said. One person was killed and six others were hurt in a Mercer County crash, authorities said. The unidentified victim was 44 years old. At 10:46 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, Trenton police responded to the 500 block of Second Street on a stabbing in progress, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. Shoplifter Takes Revolver From Arresting Officer In Mercer County: Police
An alleged shoplifter ultimately resisted arrest and seized an officer's firearm, authorities said. On Thursday, May 11, at 4:44 p.m., West Windsor police got a complaint of a shoplifted at TJ Maxx at the Nassau Park Pavilion. A patrol officer was working nearby at Wegmans Food Market.
