South Jersey Man Gets 20 Years State Prison In Shooting Death: Prosecutor A 33-year-old man from Cumberland County was sentenced to 20 years in New Jersey state prison in connection with a shooting death, authorities said. Raheem Jacobs, of Bridgeton, was sentenced Friday, Aug. 5 in connection with the Aug. 11, 2015 homicide of Keon Butler, also of Bridgeton, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae. Bridgeton police seek the public's help finding a Chevy Equinox that left the scene of a crash on Friday, June 24 at 1:43 a.m. on North Pearl Street. After striking the man, the car continued east on Irving Avenue, police said. The man suffered a serious head injury, police said. Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt In South Jersey Crash: Report A 22-year-old motorcyclist was airlifted with serious injuries on Monday, June 20 in South Jersey, NJ Advance Media reported.  The motorcyclist was on Fayette Street when another Bridgeton resident turned his car from Cottage Avenue onto Fayette in front of the bike around 3:15 p.m., the outlet said, quoting Bridgeton police. Kelly is a Bridgeton resident and is believed to be with Elijah Santiago, 15, who was also reported missing out of Franklin Township. Santiago is 5ft 1in tall and weighs about 120 pounds.
