A 27-year-old man from Ocean County has admitted to a shooting in Atlantic City, authorities said. An Egg Harbor Township woman was accused of owning two spas in Ocean County that engaged in prostitution, authorities said. A family is rallying to support Ocean County children whose father was killed in a crash and mother, his wife, seriously injured. State police said 34-year-old George Francis of Lanoka Harbor died when his SUV drove off the Garden State Parkway south at around 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25. Dylan DeStefano died in a motorcycle crash on Wednesday, Oct. 12 of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident, his obituary says. He was 19 years old. The Barnegat/Manahawkin resident's greatest passions were his Honda Street Bike and his Nissan 350 Z, next to physical fitness, his obit says. The school was put in a shelter in place as officials worked to break up the fight at 7:48 a.m., Barnegat police said. A 59-year-old woman was killed in a two-car crash on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. On Sunday, Feb. 20 at 3:53 p.m., Barnegat police responded to Barnegat Boulevard North and Cole Drive for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Police found the driver of one of the vehicles, Alice Toriello, 59, of Barnegat unconscious and unresponsive. Authorities have identified a man struck and killed by a train in Asbury Park. James Kessock, 34, Barnegat, was hit about 9:55 p.m. Sunday, according to Jim Smith, a New Jersey Transit spokesman Kessock was struck along the North Jersey Coast Line tracks near First Avenue around 9:55 p.m., Smith said.
