Students at Ramapo College helped identify the missing remains of a marine who had been dead for 73 years. In July of 1951, Leland Yager, a U.S. Marines Captain, died in a military training exercise. His remains were recovered in California and buried in Missouri. Years later, a child was doing a scavenging exploration in Arizona when they discovered an unidentified human jaw bone. A third Sports Farmers Market plans to open in South Jersey, developers said. Real estate company Vantage Commercial announced an agreement to bring Sprouts to West Deptford in Gloucester County. A Camden County resident who tested positive for West Nile virus is the first person in New Jersey to come down with the mosquito-borne illness this year, authorities said. There have been 69 cases in 16 states nationwide with the most in Arizona, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control. NJ Woman Struck, Killed By DUI Arizona Football Player: Reports
New Jersey native Norah Bruther was struck and killed by an Arizona State University football player over the weekend, authorities said. Bruther, 23, of Sea Girt, was crossing Camelback Road in Scottsdale, AZ when she was struck by 22-year-old Sun Devil Stanley Kambert around 1 a.m. Saturday, Fox10 Phoenix reports. Bruther, a senior associate at Ernst and Young, was allegedly visiting Scottsdale at the time of the incident.
