A 35-year-old man from Camden County has been arrested for causing the fentanyl-overdose death of his 12-year-old nephew, authorities said. The boy had been directed by Troy Nokes, 35, of Blackwood, to clean fentanyl paraphernalia before he passed out on a school bus on Jan. 24, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. Two teenagers have been charged in connection in a fatal crash that occurred as they were racing their cars, authorities said. The fatal crash occurred on Jan. 20, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Edison Police Chief Thomas Bryan. A Vineland man has pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter in a crash that killed three members of another family, NJ Advance Media reports. Modesto Pino, 37, admitted he had been drinking and driving at speeds exceeding 90 mph when he slammed into an SUV driven by Iban Garcia-Ruiz, of Bridgeton, on Nov. 1, 2020, the outlet said. A Pleasantville man has been sentenced to 25 years in New Jersey state prison for killing a woman in Atlantic City, authorities said.
