A Montgomery County teenager who was shot and killed in North Philadelphia over the weekend was looking forward to summer vacation, loved ones say. He was 16 years old. Keivon Abraham of Abington was found with a gunshot wound to the chest on the 2400 block of North Clarion Street early on Monday, May 29, city police told Daily Voice. 'Chainsaw Dismemberment': PA Daughter Shot, Hacked Bodies Of Elderly Parents, DA Says
The elderly couple found dead at a Jenkintown home were shot in the head and then "dismembered" with a chainsaw, authorities revealed. Verity Beck, a 43-year-old Abington resident, is charged with murder in the death of her parents Reid and Miriam Beck, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said in a press conference Wednesday, Jan. 18. Investigators say the couple was last heard from on Jan. 7 and may have been dead for over a week before they were discovered late on Tuesday, Jan. 17. : Possible Tornado With Gusts Up To 70 MPH Tears Through NJ, PA
Homes and businesses across New Jersey and Pennsylvania were destroyed following a quick-hitting storm that ripped across the area Sunday evening. "Several wind damage reports were received and focused mainly along the I-95 corridor, including some measured wind gusts in the 60 to 70 mph range," the National Weather Service said. Streets around the America's Best Value Inn near Route 35 in Neptune was fully evacuated with several surrounded streets closed due to downed poles, wires and extensive debris. Police Nab Late-Night DUI Bucks County Driver
A DUI woman was slapped with multiple charges after opening too wide on a left turn that landed her on a curb, police in Northampton Township said. Police saw Natalia Lizbeth Holguin try turning back into the southbound lane of 2nd Street Pike after the 1 a.m. incident Saturday, police said. The 29-year-old woman was taken into police custody for driving under the influence, driving on roadways laned for traffic, and driving an unregistered car, police said.
