Police reportedly closed a road in Gloucester County due to a "possible suspicious device" found, authorities said.

A report of the possible device was made about noon on Monday. The finding prompted the shutdown of Broadway (County Road 551) in Westville between Chelsea and New Street, initial reports said.

No other details were immediately available.
