'Most Important Thing' To South Jersey Murder Victim Was Her Children's Education

Friends of Erin Gatier, a 47-year-old mother of two killed in a domestic violence incident, are raising money for expenses including her children's education.

The GoFundMe organizer, a good friend, wrote, "Erin left behind two beautiful children that are tasked with unthinkable decisions and expenses. All donations will help with expenses and then will go directly to her children to continue their education, which was the most important thing to Erin."

Gatier's ex-boyfriend, a former Atlantic City police officer, killed Gatier and then himself on Nov. 28 in Deptford, DailyVoice.com reported.

More than $40,000 had been contributed to memorialize Erin and support her children as of Tuesday, Dec. 6.
