Car Veers Off Route 55 In Gloucester County (Developing)

A vehicle veered off the roadway, trapping the driver along Route 55 in Gloucester County, authorities said.

The crash occurred at about 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18 on Route 55 southbound in Deptford Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

An unconfirmed report said the driver struck a tree and was unconscious.
