A 35-year-old Whippany man was killed in a car crash on Route 202 in Branchburg on Tuesday, Feb. 18, authorities said. At 10:08 p.m., officers responded to a single-car collision at Route 202 and Whiton Road and found a 2024 blue Mercedes Coupe overturned, Branchburg police said. The driver was located lying on the ground next to the vehicle, police said. A Kendall Park woman was killed when she was in a car that was hit by an SUV that ran a traffic light in South Brunswick, authorities said. Ranjinidevi Ramakrishnan, 43, died in the crash, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said in a news release on Thursday, Oct. 10. Camden Man Sentenced In Fatal-Hit Run Crash In Central Jersey: Prosecutor
A 24-year-old man from Camden has been sentenced to 11 years in New Jersey State Prison for a fatal hit-and-run crash in Middlesex County. Giovanni Gaines-Little was sentenced on Monday, July 29 in connection with a crash that occurred on Feb. 25, 2023, in South Brunswick, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone. Motorcyclist, 45, Killed In Route 1 Crash: Police
A 45-year-old motorcyclist from Essex County was killed in a crash on Route 1 in Edison, authorities said. Alexander Chong of Belleville was killed when he struck the rear of a vehicle stopped at a red light, Edison police said. He ended up under the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The crash occurred at about 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, July 28 northbound near Old Post Road North.
