Body Of NJ Resident, 31, Pulled From Car Submerged In River After Crash: Prosecutor The body of a 31-year-old man was pulled from a vehicle that had plunged into the Delaware Raritan Canal over the weekend, police said. Police were called to Canal and Grouser roads on Saturday, Aug. 24 around 12:25 p.m. after a kayaker saw a 2024 Honda Civic in the river, Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald said. Woman Cited For Careless Driving After Overturning Vehicle: Montgomery PD A driver was given a summons for careless driving after their vehicle overturned in Montgomery Township on Thursday, July 18, authorities said. At 11:58 a.m., first responders were on the scene of an overturned vehicle at Route 518 near Brecknell Way, Montgomery Police said in a release. South Jersey Truck Driver Arrested In Fiery Triple-Fatal Route 1 Crash, Authorities Say A Bridgeton man has been arrested by U.S. Marshals in Georgia and charged with aggravated manslaughter and vehicular homicide in the fiery crash that killed there people on Route 1 in South Brunswick in April, authorities said. The tractor-trailer driver, Joseph Vega, 43, of Bridgeton, was transporting an oversized concrete load when it failed to stop for a red light at the intersection resulting in the fatal collision, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and South Brunswick Police Chief Raymond Hayducka.
