A long-struggling Jersey Shore shopping plaza is getting a second chance.
TFE Properties, LLC has acquired Orchard Plaza, a 10-acre retail center on Route 35 South in Oakhurst, the company announced.
The plaza, which first opened in 1980 as a booming retail hub, has faced growing vacancies over the years. Now, the East Windsor–based developer is planning a full-scale revival.

A sprawling luxury apartment community in Morris Plains just sold for a whopping $85 million, officials with CBRE announced on Friday, July 11.
The buyer, whose name has not been released, purchased Signature Place, a 197-unit Class A complex featuring high-end finishes and resort-style amenities, from Veris Residential, a New Jersey-based real estate investment trust.

The Padded Wagon building, a recognizable industrial site with a giant sign towering over Route 80 in Paterson, is officially for sale.
The historic complex at 61 State St., known formally as Reinhardt Mills, hit the market with a $13 million asking price, according to listing broker Homer De Leon of The Marmarou Team.

A late-night adventure turned into a brush with the law for two young explorers caught trespassing at the former Vonage headquarters in Holmdel, apparently all because of a Reddit post.
Alexis L. Prager, 22, of Holmdel, and Aaron M. Olmeda, 21, of Point Pleasant, were charged with defiant trespass after police found them on the abandoned property at 23 Main St. around 2:19 a.m. on Dec. 4, 2024, according to Holmdel Township police paperwork.
