Worker Falls Into Electrical Box On NJ Turnpike, Police Say A worker was hospitalized after falling into an electrical box on the New Jersey Turnpike in Teaneck early Wednesday, Dec. 10, according to the New Jersey State Police. Troopers responded to a report of a fall victim on the Turnpike southbound at milepost 119.2 in Teaneck at 12:42 a.m., Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. When troopers arrived, a worker had fallen into an electrical box, sustained minor injuries, and was transported to an area hospital, the sergeant said. The incident remains under investigation, Lebron said. No additional information was available.

Construction Worker Killed By Drunk Driver In Toms River: Prosecutor A 50-year-old construction worker was killed when he was struck by a drunk driver in Toms River on Thursday, July 31, authorities said. At 1 a.m., Toms River police responded to Lakewood Road and Raymond Avenue and found the man, who was working for a roadway construction company, with serious injuries in the roadway, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said.
