Motorcyclist, 66, Dies In Head-On Crash Along Jersey Shore: Police A Somers Point man was killed when his motorcycle crashed into an oncoming SUV in Egg Harbor Township, authorities said. Alfred Mottola II, 66, died in the crash on Route 152 near the Somers Point border, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the scene at around 8:13 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19. Investigators said Mottola was heading west on a 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycle near Graef Boat Yard when he crossed the center line into the eastbound lane. Motorcyclist ID'ed In Fatal Somerset County Crash: Authorities Police have identified the 47-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash on Sunday, Sept. 15 in Somerset County. Belle Mead's Kevin Duwane Williams was hospitalized after the crash on South Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Manville around 5:30 p.m., Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald previously said. Driver Wanted After Toms River Pedestrian Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash Police were looking for the driver who killed a pedestrian in Shrewsbury, authorities said. The 23-year-old Toms River man died in the hit-and-run crash on Monday, Aug. 5, a Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office spokesperson said on Friday, Aug. 16. Shrewsbury police responded to a report of an unresponsive person near the intersection of Shrewsbury and Sycamore avenues just after 2:45 a.m. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
