According to the PSE&G outage center, the following areas were in the dark as of 7:50 a.m: Burlington County: 2,400 Camden County: 787 Mercer County: 1,900 According to JCP&L, the same was true for the following customers: Hunterdon County: 2,075 Mercer County: 787 Middlesex County: 3,236 Monmouth County: 6,384 Morris County: 1,600 Ocean County: 3,300 Restoration times are varied. Gusty Winds Leave 5,000 New Jersey Residents Without Power: Here's Where More than 5,000 New Jersey residents are facing power outages as high wind gusts were being clocked in parts of the state on Thursday, Dec. 5. As of press time, JCP&L was reporting 2,521 outages in Ocean County and 1,494 in Burlington County. Monmouth County was also heavily affected, with 1,125 customers in the dark, while Mercer County reports 104 outages and Middlesex County just four. In New Jersey, the tornado watch is in effect through 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9 and covers Bergen, Essex, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren counties in North Jersey.
