25 NJ Landlords Who Considered Tenants' Criminal History Facing Fines, AG Says
Twenty-five landlords are facing fines after state officials said they violated state laws by considering potential tenants' criminal histories. According to NJ Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and the Division on Civil Rights (DCR), the notices of violation allege that the housing providers violated the law by, among other things, asking criminal history-related questions on housing applications that are prohibited by the law. A short film about werewolves is looking for actors in the greater Princeton area. Journey Entertainment said it's filming scenes in Princeton for its short-reel vertical project called "Meet My Alpha Werewolf In Campus", according to a Backstage listing. Acting roles were advertised as paying up to $2,800. The lead roles are Abigail and Axel, a female and male werewolf in their early-to-mid 20s. Police in Manchester are seeking the public's help in locating a 24-year-old woman last heard from more than two weeks ago. Erin Garofalo last spoke to her family on the phone on Thursday, July 25, police in Manchester said. She was last known to be in the area of Barnt Avenue in Trenton and has been known to frequent the Hamilton, Princeton, and East Windsor areas. A woman was attacked by a man inside a library at Princeton University, authorities said. The attack happened inside the Lewis Science Library at about 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, the university's Department of Public Safety said in a campus alert. The woman reported she was working in a room on the fourth floor when a man asked her for help. The man then grabbed the woman by her neck and pushed her against a wall. The search for a missing man ended in tragedy on Friday, June 7, when police found he'd died by suicide in a popular New Jersey hiking area.
