Authorities in Cape May County are investigating a crash between a teen dirt bike operator and a town trash truck, which killed the teen dirt biker. The crash happened around 11:35 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14. Camden Woman Fatally Struck By Vehicle: Florence Twp Police
A 41-year-old Camden woman was fatally struck by a vehicle on the early morning of Friday, Jan. 17 in Florence, authorities said. At 5:43 a.m., officers responded to a pedestrian struck near 1091 Florence-Columbus Road, Florence Township police said. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. An 18-year-old Atlantic City resident was arrested after video showed him throwing cats in the air, authorities said. On Sunday, Dec. 1, officers received a video showing Ericxon Santos picking up a cat and throwing it up in the air, sending it crashing to the ground, Atlantic City police said. Police were unable to locate the cat, but found additional video footage of Santos throwing a different cat into the air on a different date, officers said. A 56-year-old Vineland man was recently sentenced to 25 years in prison after being previously being convicted of sexually assaulting two kids, authorities said. Christopher Bonner was convicted in August of sexually assaulting two children who were under the age of 13 between 1993 and 2002, the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office said. The two children were related to Bonner, authorities said. Bonner was sentenced to 17 years in prison for aggravated sexual assault and sexual assault and eight years in prison on an additional conviction for sexual assault, authorities said.
