Man, 53, Dies In Crash While Passing Vehicle On South Jersey Road: Police A Sicklerville man was killed when his vehicle crashed while he tried to pass someone, authorities said. Preston Newbey, 53, died in the crash on Williamstown Road, the Winslow Township Police Department said in a news release on Monday, Nov. 18. Officers responded to the scene at around 5:18 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17. Investigators said Newbey was driving west on Williamstown near the intersection with Lakedale Road. He tried to pass another vehicle when he lost control and struck a utility pole. Newbey was ejected from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuri…

Officers were called to Penbryn Wildlife Management area for two missing swimmers around 2:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, Winslow Township Police Chief Donald Lemons said. A witness told police his two friends, ages 23 and 24, went swimming in the lake and did not resurface. Troopers responding to reports of a suicidal person near mile marker 41 in Winslow Township around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1 found the woman on the ledge of an overpass, NJSP said.
