Sgt. Richard Sbarra was on White Horse Pike (Route 30) in the Atco section of Waterford when he hit Christofe “Christopher” Wita, 44, of Berlin on Nov. 23, 2023, NJ Attorney General Matthew Platkin previously said. Bodycam footage and radio transmissions from the incident were released last month. Bicyclist, 27, Fatally Struck By Car In Camden County A 27-year-old pedalcyclist was struck and killed by a car Monday, Nov. 13, in Camden County. Nicholas Krier was heading north on S. Franklin Avenue approaching Route 30, and was struck by a 47-year-old woman operating a Subaru Outback while trying to cross over White Horse Pike, just before 5 a.m. in Berlin, local police said. A witness said the Subaru had a green light when it crossed the intersection of Route 30 and S Franklin Avenue,  The eastbound Subaru driver immediately stopped and stayed at the scene. Police ID Man Killed In Route 30 South Jersey Crash A passenger from Burlington County was killed in a crash on Route 30 in Atlantic County. Bruce H. GIlbert of Browns Mills died in the Thursday, Nov. 3 crash, Mullica Township police said. At about 11:45 a.m., police responded to the intersection of White Horse Pike (Route 30) and Elwood Road for a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles.
