A man was arrested in connection with illegally selling marijuana and THC-related products in Ocean County — and he had help from his mom, authorities said.
Approximately 70 pounds of marijuana, 1,500 pounds of THC-related products, a 9 mm handgun, and approximately $390,000 in cash, were seized from Scott Carlino, 52, of Toms River, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
Ellen Carlino, his 74-year-old mother, was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Financial Facilitation, Billhimer said.

Two suspects were arrested in Atlantic City in connection with an armed robbery, authorities said.
On Friday, Sept. 8, at 3:45 a.m., Atlantic City patrol officers responded to the area of Ohio and Pacific Avenues for a man reporting that he was robbed of his wallet by a man and a woman.
