Four people have been charged for their roles in a violent home invasion that left a Cumberland County detective dead, authorities announced.
Nyshawn Mutcherson, 29, of Vineland; Jarred Brown, 31, of Bridgeton; and Richard Hawkins Willis, 32, of Gloucester City, were each charged with first-degree murder, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release on Monday, Oct. 28. A Bridgeton man will spend several years in prison for his role in an armed home invasion, authorities said.
Malachi Edmonds, 26, was sentenced on Friday, Aug. 2 to seven years in state prison, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said in a news release. He was previously convicted of second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, fourth-degree trespass to a dwelling, and fourth-degree theft.

John Vincentini, 64, pleaded guilty in two separate cases on Friday, June 7, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release. He and his wife, 64-year-old Karen Vincentini, have been held in the Ocean County Jail since March.
