Teen Drunkenly Sped Through Stop Signs, Crashed Into Business In Jersey Shore City: Police
An Atlantic County teen was accused of driving drunk, speeding through stop signs, and crashing into the side of a business, authorities said. The 17-year-old from Hammonton was arrested on Tuesday, Apr. 2, the Brigantine Police Department said in a news release. The teen was charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, eluding police, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and nine traffic summonses. A Pennsylvania man will spend at least two decades in prison for killing two people during an illegal car rally in Wildwood, authorities said. Gerald White, 38, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced on Thursday, Feb. 8 to 25 years in prison, for killing two people at the violent H2oi car rally in 2022, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland announced. White has a long history of traffic violations in New Jersey, dating back to 2005. A 32-year-old Leesburg man was arrested on Saturday, Oct. 28, after police say he possessed a stolen handgun. At 4:39 a.m., police observed a Saturn commit numerous traffic violations at 28th Street and Prospect Avenue, officers said.
