Historical Bronze Bell Stolen, Recovered In Pleasantville; Pair Arrested A historical bronze bell was stolen but later recovered and two men were arrested, authorities said. the Pleasantville Fire Department reported on Oct. 17 that the bronze bell had been stolen. The Fire Department reported that the bell was last known to be located in the rear of the building in an alleyway between the police department. It had been a fixture at the firehouse since the department was formed in the early 1900s.
