Trenton Man Arrested After Pit Bull Attack, Stabbing: Police A 29-year-old Trenton man has been arrested for attempted murder after setting his pit bull loose on a man before stabbing him, authorities said. The attack occurred on July 13 at about 10:20 a.m. at New Willow and Southard streets, according to Trenton police. Police found a 50-year-old male victim from Trenton bleeding heavily from a severe cut to his midsection. Massive 5-Alarm Fire Guts Abandoned Trenton School Firefighters were battling a massive five-alarm fire at a vacant school building in Trenton, authorities said. The fire started mid-afternoon Monday, May 15 at a building on Southard Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. That's the former location of MLK Middle School.  A tweet from Trenton Public Schools said the fire engulfed the old Junior No. 1 Building. Sherri Voorhees, 62, was last seen by her family on Tuesday, Aug. 23, Ewing Police said. Sherri is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds, and has short gray hair, according to police. She is known to make frequent trips to Hermitage Avenue, West State Street, Southard Street, and possibly the Donnelly Homes areas in Trenton, police said.
