South Jersey Family Lost 'Lifetime Of Possessions' In House Fire
A family from Burlington County lost all of their possessions in a fire on Tuesday, Jan. 2, according to a GoFundMe campaign.
The blaze originated in a basement of the Kohn family's home on the 100 block of Whitemarsh Way, Delran firefighters said.
The Kohns lost everything in the devastating blaze, and escaped with the clothes on their backs, said Erin Wharton of Riverton, who sponsored the GoFundMe. Reba, Bill, Brandon, Tyler, and Chase are all safe, she said.
"All of their possessions accumulated over a lifetime are gone," Wharton wrote.

A 51-year-old contractor from South Jersey has been arrested for taking nearly $75,000 for a construction project then blowing it in Atlantic City, a new boat and a new car, authorities said.
An investigation into Richard A. Smith Jr., of Williamstown, began in December 2021, after a Riverton resident told police that Smith, who owns Beyond Renovations LLC, took two payments for wok on an addition, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Riverton Police Chief John Shaw said.
