A Barnegat man will spend several years in prison after admitting to shooting another man in Atlantic City almost two years ago, authorities said. Louis Stokes, 27, was sentenced on Tuesday, Sept. 24 to five years in state prison, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release on Wednesday, Oct. 9. A 35-year-old woman has been arrested for throwing stone pavers through windows at City Hall in Atlantic City, authorities said. On Sunday, Oct. 8, at 12:05 a.m., patrol officers responded to City Hall in the 1300 block of Bacharach Boulevard for damage done to windows.
