Authorities ID Pedestrian Struck, Killed In South Jersey A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Haddon Township, authorities said. Maria Rios-Reyes, 65, of Haddon Township, was fatally hit on Feb. 11 near East Holly Avenue, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office said. Rios-Reyes founded a local cleaning company, Crystal Cleaning Services, according to an obituary published by Popiolek Funeral Home.  “Above all, Cristina will always be remembered for her strong faith and her love of family,” the obit said. Quinel D. Harris, of Glassboro, was walking northbound on Greentree Road near Chapel Heights Road in Washington Township around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27 when he was hit by a northbound Chevy Silverado pickup as the vehicle was changing lanes, according to township police. Frankie Petillo Jr. was struck by a vehicle on Thursday, April 6, according to the college chancellor. Petillo, of the Manahawkin section of Strafford, was a freshman Bioengineering student. The college held a candlelight vigil on Monday. Pedestrian, 85, Struck, Killed By Pennsylvania Driver In Trenton Crash: PD An 85-year-old pedestrian was killed in Trenton on Sunday, March 4, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 9:20 p.m. on Route 29 north near Warren Street, according to Trenton Lt. Nathan Bolognini. The victim's name had not been released because his next of kin had not been notified, the lieutenant said. The driver called police from Pennsylvania and said he might have hit someone, Bolognini said. No charges had been filed.

Marshall, 66, of Atlantic City was fatally struck about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24  at milepost 3 on the eastbound side of the expressway in Pleasantville, New Jersey State Police said. He was struck by a Mercedes Benz C-Class, police said. The Mercedes was traveling east on the highway in the left lane when Marshall tried to cross from south to north and was hit, police said.

Zachary Fulmer, of Marmora, was heading south in the northbound lanes when he was hit near milepost 28.5, in Somers Point around 2:43 a.m., New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota said. It wasn't clear if the driver remained at the scene. Fulmer was pronounced dead.

Lower Paxton Township Police were called to a report of a pedestrian struck in the 5500 block of Allentown Boulevard on Dec. 20 at 6:17 p.m., according to a release by police. Upon arrival, police found George R. Slack Jr., 53, laying in the westbound lanes of Allentown Boulevard.
