Remembering Elishama Louis, 20, Woman Killed By Car In South Jersey
Support is on the rise for the family of a victim who died days after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a road in Malaga, authorities said.
Elishama Louis, 20, died from her injuries on Monday, Oct. 14, five days after being struck on Delsea Drive near the Riggins and Wawa gas stations, police in Franklin Township said.
Louis was hospitalized and placed on life support for several days before she was declared brain dead by doctors, her family said on a GoFundMe campaign.

Kenneth Weis Jr., 42, Of Pittsgrove 'Could Fix Almost Anything'
Kenneth W. “Kennie” Weis, Jr., of Pittsgrove, died at the age of 42, according to an obituary published by Pancoast Funeral Home.
"Kennie was born with the gift of a very high mechanical aptitude," his obituary said.
He could fix or build almost anything. "He enjoyed working on cars, trucks, motorcycles, anything with a motor & transmission – he could figure it out," his obit said.
He especially enjoyed repairing vehicles for family, friends, "even complete strangers stranded on the side of the road," his obit said.
