Thomas Herlihy, 37, of New Castle, Delaware, was sentenced Friday to seven years in a treatment facility for sex offenders, according to Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill. Herlihy’s sentence is to be served at the Avenel facility because he was found to be a repetitive and compulsive sex offender, Shill said.
