Police Pull Distraught Man Off Ledge Of Atlantic City Parking Garage
Atlantic City police pulled a distraught man from the ledge of a parking garage earlier this month, authorities said. On Sept. 10, t 3:03 p.m., police officers responded to the top floor of a parking structure in reference to a man who was lying on the ledge continually looking over. Surveillance Center personnel were able to locate the man on camera and provide the responding officers with real-time information, police said on Thursday, Sept. 21. Man Takes Fatal Leap From Atlantic City Parking Garage
A 42-year-old Florida man jumped to his death from a parking garage in Atlantic City, authorities said. On Thursday, May 11, at 10:47 a.m., Atlantic City patrol officers responded to Mississippi and Atlantic Avenues in reference to witness reports of a man jumping from a parking garage. Officers found the man and attempted to render medical aid. Emergency Medical personnel arrived on scene and the man, 42, of Riviera Beach, FL, was pronounced dead. A pair of New Jersey State Troopers and a Glouceter Township officer are being hailed as heroes after rescuing a suicidal woman from leaping off of an overpass. A cause of death has been released for a Pennsylvania inmate who was found dead in his cell on Tuesday, March 1, LevittownNow reports. Edwin Dunfee, 46, of Philadelphia, died by suicide at the Bucks County Correctional Facility, the outlet reports citing the county's coroner.
