Pleasantville Woman Sentenced In Stabbing Death
A 33-year-old woman from Pleasantville was sentenced to a 13-and-a-half-year term in New Jersey State Prison in connection with a fatal stabbing, authorities said. Rollie Ellis was sentenced on Thursday, Aug. 24 for aggravated manslaughter, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. South Jersey Woman Pleads Guilty In Fatal Stabbing: Prosecutor
A 33-year-old woman from South Jersey has pleaded guilty in connection with a fatal stabbing, authorities said. Rollie Ellis, of Pleasantville, pleaded guilty to first-degree aggravated manslaughter, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. Her plea calls for a sentence of 13 and one-half years in New Jersey State Prison, with eighty-five percent of the term to be served before parole eligibility pursuant to the No Early Release Act. New Jersey authorities have dropped a case against a correctional police officer who'd been accused of hiding his membership in two outlaw motorcycle gangs. Ruben Morales, who worked at the state prison in Newark, had also been accused of hiding a food truck business he worked on the side.
