TGI Fridays Closing These 'Underperforming' Northeast Restaurants
TGI Fridays is closing nearly 30 "underperforming" locations across the northeast and will sell eight restaurants to the chain's former CEO, the chain said in a news release. The 27 closures include restaurants in Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. : Convict In NJ Woman's Burning Death Gets Life In Prison
A New Hampshire man convicted of murder in the gruesome Massachusetts death of a New Jersey native has been sentenced to life in prison without parole, WCVB reports. Julian Squires, 48, from Manchester, was found guilty on charges of murder and kidnapping for his role in the Nov. 3, 2015 killing of Ashley Bortner, 29, of Paulsboro, the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office previously said. Teen, 2 Adults Dead In Atlantic City Expressway Crash
A teen and two adults were killed when a car slammed into a tollbooth on the Atlantic City Expressway Sunday night, New Jersey State Police said. Reachthon Khiev, of Manchester, NH, was behind the wheel of a Honda heading east when he struck the Egg Harbor Toll Plaza near milepost 17.6 in Hamilton around 9:05 p.m., Sgt. Philip Curry said.
