Lamaas Arthur, 55, of Port Norris, received citations for disregarding a stop sign and careless driving, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office. The crash occurred at 3:12 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2 on Route 55 southbound at milepost 44.6 in Elk Township, New Jersey State Police said. Preliminary investigation revealed that a Mack dump truck was operating within a construction zone and failed to lower its bed after offloading materials, State Police said.
