Arrest Made In Theft Of $47K Worth Of Aluminum Beams On Jersey Shore A 48-year-old man from the Jersey Shore has been arrested in connection with the theft of $47,000 worth of aluminum beams from a marine construction company, authorities said. Anonymous tips from the public helped in the investigation, according to Brick Township police. John Paul Cottrell Sr. of Jackson was arrested on a warrant at his home on Jan.6, according to Brick police. Body Of NJ Man Found In New Orleans 2 Months After Disappearance: Report The body of a 33-year-old New Jersey man was found in New Orleans more than two months after his disappearance, The Lakewood Scoop reports. Michael Gelfand, of Jackson, was found dead in NoLa on Monday, March 21, the outlet said citing sources. His body is being flown back to New Jersey for burial. Gelfand arrived in New Orleans on Jan. 5 for business and was scheduled to return to his home in New Jersey on Jan. 6, police said. His family has not heard from him since Jan. 6. On Monday at 9:51 a.m., police were called to the Lukoil gas station at 2301 West County Line Road in Jackson for a reported carjacking.  Police found a 57-year-old woman who said her 1999 Dodge Pickup had been stolen by a man  who had punched her in the face, Jackson police said.
