NJ Woman Killed In PA Flood Mourned As Generous Animal Lover, Caretaker
Friends are mourning the loss of a Mercer County woman who was among several people swept away by flood waters over the weekend in Pennsylvania. Susan Barnhardt, 53, of Titusville in Hopewell Township, was among five people who died — not including a baby and toddler who remain missing — in the unprecedented flash floods in Upper Makefield Township on Saturday, July 15. Four Including Baby Missing, Three Dead In Bucks County Flash Floods
The Bucks County coroner has provided an update into last night's flash flood rescue and recovery efforts. As of Sunday morning, July 16, the bodies of two females and one male who had been swept away in the flash floods had been recovered from areas across Upper Makefield, Coroner Meredith Buck and Upper Makefield police said. Four people ranging from 9 months old to 62 years old remained unaccounted for. Police and fire were able to rescue one woman who was trapped in her vehicle.
