Parents, Students Arrested After Brawl At South Jersey High School
Two parents and two students were arrested after a brawl at Highland Regional High School in Camden County, authorities said.
Brianne Mitchell, 41, of Clementon, and Krystal Turner, 38, of Blackwood, are both facing charges following the fight that broke out Wednesday, March 20, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Gloucester Township police said.
Mitchell, Turner, and two students were actively fighting in the front vestibule of the school when the Gloucester Township Police Department School Resource Officer (SRO) and police officers responded, authorities said.

Camden County Mom, Grandmother Kristen Emdin 'Embraced Life's Simple Pleasures'
Kristen T. Emdin died on Feb. 10 in Clementon, according to an obituary published by Inglesby Funeral Home. She was 47 years old.
The Camden native spent her "cherished years" in Mount Ephraim "where she embraced life's simple pleasures, such as bike riding with her beloved husband, Todd Emdin," her obituary said.
She is survived by two children, Devin Townsen and Walter Whitman, and two grandchildren, Octavius and Mazikeen Michael.

On Thursday, June 9, Jermaine Venable was sentenced by Camden County Superior Court Judge Gwendolyn Blue, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.
On Feb. 23, Venable was found guilty on charges of first-degree murder, first-degree conspiracy to commit murder, second-degree aggravated assault, and weapons offenses, they said.

A 22-year-old South Jersey man has been indicted on murder and attempted murder charges in connection with a recording studio shooting that killed one and wounded two others in Cumberland County, NJ Advance Media reports.
Tyzir S. Hall, of Clementon, was indicted by a grand jury last week in the Feb. 8, 2021, death of Shaheed Little, 31, of Sicklerville. Hall was additionally charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses, the outlet said.
