Shirtless Danelo Cavalcante Last Spotted Carrying .22 Rifle, Flashlight
The reward in the search for Danelo Cavalcante has been increased to $25,000. The 34-year-old escaped killer, who is also wanted for murder in Brazil, is armed after stealing a pistol from a Chester County home Monday, Sept. 11, authorities said. Police say he was last spotted in South Coventry Township, without a shirt, carrying a stolen .22 rifle and flashlight. Residents should call 911 immediately if he is spotted. A 42-year-old suburban Philadelphia man has been charged with trying to kill his mom on Thanksgiving authorities said. Michael D. Giffing is accused of assaulting his mom, Dorothy Giffing, around 6:10 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 24, West Chester police said. Authorities responded to the home on the 300 Block of W. 10-Year-Old Boy Choked By Uncle During Argument In Suburban Philly: Police
A Chester County man was arrested after police say he assaulted his nephew. A 10-year-old boy told officers that his uncle, Stephen M. Reese, 35, of West Chester, had choked him during an argument inside a home on the 300 block of Fox Hollow Lane around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, West Chester police said. The victim claimed he was not able to breathe for a short period of time. Reese was then arrested and charged with strangulation and simple assault, police said. He was remanded to Chester County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail, records show.

A Pennsylvania man who gave his pregnant girlfriend the drugs that killed her also refused to save her, authorities said in announcing his arrest. It was Valentine's Day 2022 when Christopher Barbuto, 40, gave 28-year-old Courtney Wilson heroin and/or fentanyl, and two suspected Xanax pills, which were found in her purse near her body in Phonoexville, Chester County District Attorney Deb Ryan said.
