Fugitive Caught With Stolen Gun After Atlantic City Crash, Police Say
A wanted Egg Harbor Township man was accused of having a stolen gun after a crash in Atlantic City, authorities said. Joey Osias, 25, was arrested on Sunday, Sept. 22, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to the wreck near the intersection of Route 30 and Grammercy Avenue at around 7:50 p.m. Investigators said a driver and Osias, who was a passenger, ran away from their vehicle after the crash. A woman was flown to the hospital after a careless driver drove onto the sidewalk and struck her while she was walking her dog in an Ocean County town on Friday, Sept. 6, police said. A car smashed through the front of a building in Mercer County, authorities said. On Sunday, June 2, at approximately 8:40 a.m., Lawrence Township Police Department received multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting that a vehicle had crashed into the building of Worldwide Floor Covering at 2750 Brunswick Pike in Lawrenceville. Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred outside a Lakewood church food pantry. Dilcia Maribell Guevara-Tabora, 46, of Lakewood, was sitting on the curb near Saint Vincent de Paul Food Pantry when she was struck at about 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 15, Lakewood police said. Two girls who were not related to the woman were injured. A minivan was making a turn in the parking lot when the fatal crash occurred.
