Man, 40, Shot Dead In Trenton: Prosecutor A 40-year-old Trenton man was shot dead over the weekend, authorities said. The victim has been identified as Ronald Taylor, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office. A few minutes after midnight on Saturday, Sept. 2, Trenton police responded to the 200 block of Brunswick Avenue on a report of a male shot. Responding officers found an unresponsive male in a vacant lot appearing to suffer from a gunshot wound.  The victim was transported to Capital Heath Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.  No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. …

Football Star, 24, Dies Of Injuries From Trenton Shooting: Prosecutor A 24-year-old man from Mercer County died of injuries suffered in a shooting in Trenton earlier this month, authorities said. Justin Prescott Reed, of Ewing, died on May 22, as a result of injuries he sustained in the May 14 shooting on Brunswick Avenue, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said on Wednesday, May 31. No arrests had been made in the shooting as of press time, authorities said.
