2 Suspicious New Year's Day Deaths Investigated In Atlantic City: Prosecutor
The deaths of two men on New Year’s Day in different parts of Atlantic City are being investigated, authorities said.
Both deaths are considered suspicious, but are unrelated, they said.
Vincent O’Brien III, 50, was found bleeding on the first block of South California Avenue at about 6:15 a.m., Monday, Jan. 1, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said. O’Brien III died of his injuries at an area hospital.
Shortly after 7:30 a.m. Monday, police found Nazir Cintron, 22, stabbed to death at the Boardwalk on Michigan Avenue, the prosecutor said.

Man, 45, Shot Dead In Atlantic County: Prosecutor
A 45-year-old man was shot and killed in Pleasantville, authorities said.
Mamadou Toure, of Pleasantville, was killed in the shooting, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
On Monday, Oct. 9, 2023, at approximately 8:40 a.m., a shooting occurred at West Pleasant Avenue and Main Street, the prosecutor said.
The Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit and the Pleasantville Police Department are cooperatively investigating the shooting.
