South Jersey Woman Who Paid $20K For Service Dog Scammed By WV Breeder, Police Say
A West Virginia woman was accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a Galloway Township woman who ordered a service dog but never received one, authorities said.
Catherine Causey, 52, of Kearneysville, WV, was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 20, the Galloway Township Police Department said in a news release. She was charged with theft by deception and money laundering.

Two suspects were arrested in Atlantic City in connection with an armed robbery, authorities said.
On Friday, Sept. 8, at 3:45 a.m., Atlantic City patrol officers responded to the area of Ohio and Pacific Avenues for a man reporting that he was robbed of his wallet by a man and a woman. Officers learned the victim, 38, of Bronx, NY, began a conversation with Mariah Gooden, police said. Gooden led the victim to Kkyree Dunkerson. Rifle Seized, Trio Arrested On Drug Charges In Atlantic City: Police
Three men were arrested in Atlantic City, including one wanted for shooting a gun, authorities said.
On Monday, July 31, at 6:14 p.m., Officer John Bell allegedly saw Koron Still and two other men, Alim Tisdale and Melvin Young, in the 500 block of South Carolina Avenue, Atlantic City police said.
Still was wanted since June 26 after an incident at a home where Still became involved in a fight, police said. On that date, Still allegedly removed a handgun from his waistband and fired one gunshot at the victim, police said. No one was hurt.

Armed Man Arrested After Foot Chase In Atlantic City: Police
An armed man was arrested by Atlantic City police after a foot chase, authorities said.
On Sunday, July 2, at 9:30 p.m., Detective Christopher Dodson received information regarding a man in the beach block of California Avenue that was in possession of a handgun.
Dodson, along with Detectives Aaron Jones and Eric Evans, and Officer Brandon Bower, located Quadry Wise, police said.
As detectives approached to investigate, Wise began to run, police said.
As he attempted to jump a fence, he was apprehended and taken into custody without further incident.
