AC Man Who Raped Sleeping Woman At Bus Station Learns Fate: Prosecutor
A 56-year-old Atlantic City man was sentenced to 12 years in prison on Wednesday, March 19 after he admitted he raped a sleeping woman at a bus station in 2022, authorities said. On Thursday, May 19, 2022, Eric Williams anally penetrated the victim with both his fingers and penis while she was sleep, the Atlantic City Prosecutor's Office said. The rape was captured on surveillance camera leading to Williams' arrest, authorities said. Williams pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual assault last November, authorities said.

Galloway Township Resident Possessed Child Porn: Prosecutor
A 28-year-old Galloway Township resident pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography on Monday, Jan. 27, authorities said. Evangelin Snow is expected to be sentenced to five years in prison, per the terms of a plea agreement, the Atlantic City Prosecutor's Office said. In July 2023, State parole agents conducted a search of Snow's residence due to suspicions they were violating parole, authorities said. Gang Member Gets Prison Time For Possessing Handgun In South Jersey: Prosecutor
A 22-year-old man from Atlantic City was sentenced to seven years in New Jersey State Prison for possessing a loaded handgun and other crimes, authorities said. Altarik Hopkins was additionally sentenced on Monday, Dec. 4 for resisting arrest by flight and obstructing the administration of law, according to the Atlantic City Prosecutor's Office. He must serve 42 months of the sentence before he is eligible for parole, the prosecutor said. A 35-year-old Atlantic City man was sentenced to 70 years in New Jersey State Prison for the high school football game shooting where a 10-year-old bystander was killed, authorities said. On Monday, Sept. 11, Alvin Wyatt was sentenced for murder and attempted murder in the Pleasantville High School shooting, according to the Atlantic City Prosecutor's Office.
