A multimillion-dollar project to cap 16 acres of the Egg Harbor Township landfill is moving forward, aiming to reduce odors and address concerns raised by Atlantic County residents, officials said. After four years of delays, visitors will have to wait a few more months to return to the Atlantic City Aquarium. The North New Hampshire Avenue aquarium will reopen in September, the city said.
