A 26-year-old New Jersey man who asked a flight attendant for sex and tried to open the aircraft's doors multiple times has been indicted by a federal grand jury, authorities said. Eric Nicholas Gapco, of Delanco, a passenger onboard American Airlines flight #2101, assaulted and intimidated a flight attendant and aircraft crew members on July 18, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. American Airlines Cuts 31,000 Flights From November Schedule
American Airlines is cutting 31,000 — nearly 16 percent — of its flights from its November schedule, aviation analytics company Cirium data shows. The largest cuts are in Boston, Chicago O'Hare, Dallas-Fort Worth and Philadelphia, data shows. The cuts are based on forecasts and staffing, industry commenter and Cirium spokesperson Mike Arnot tells CNN. American Airlines has canceled more than 1,800 flights at Philadelphia International Airport, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.
