South Jersey Man Guilty Of Sexual Assault On Ex-GF, Threatening Her With A Hatchet: Prosecutor
A 50-year-old man from South Jersey has been found guilty of sexual assault on an ex-girlfriend whom he held captive with a hatchet, authorities said.
Julio Sigurani, Jr., of the Rosenhayn section of Deerfield Township, was convicted on Tuesday, Sept. 19, on eight counts including sexual assault, kidnapping, burglary, terroristic threats and weapons offenses, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.
The charges stem from a sexual assault that occurred on Aug. 13, 2020, in Deerfield.

An Atlantic County Grand Jury returned a 28-count indictment against Marlow Guerrier, 34, of Somers Point and four co-defendants in connection with their drug dealing activities throughout Atlantic County, authorities said.
Guerrier — who works a day job as a barber in Pleasantville — was charged with maintaining a drug production facility, weapons offenses, money laundering, possession of cocaine and 11 other charges, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.

A 35-year-old man from Seabrook was sentenced to 48 years in New Jersey State Prison for his role in a fatal shooting, authorities said.
Cleve W. Lewis was convicted of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, burglary and weapons offenses, according to Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae.
A 44-year-old co-defendant, Gregrey A. Coombs of Seabrook was sentenced to 30 years in state prison for conspiracy to commit murder, she said.

A Burlington County jury has found an Evesham man guilty of fatally stabing his friend and a dog during a robbery, authorities said.
After deliberating for just over an hour, a jury returned guilty verdicts against Donovan G. Hollingsworth, 26, on charges of murder, robbery, cruelty to animals and weapons offenses. Sentencing is set for Oct. 27.
