A 58-year-old New Jersey attorney and lobbyist was killed in Nashville, TN on Saturday, Oct. 19 after he was struck by a vehicle, authorities said. Michael O'Connell, of Belmar, was crossing the street with the walk light when he was struck by 2009 Dodge pickup truck attempting to make a left turn, Nashville police said in a release. Two Jersey Shore Women Stole $12K+ From Person's Bank Account, Police Say
Two Wall Township women were accused of stealing more than $10,000 from someone's bank account, authorities said. Lisa Sperry, 60, and Jordan Gruber, 34, were arrested on Friday, Oct. 11, the Wall Township Police Department said in a news release on Tuesday, Oct. 15. Investigators said the women took more than $12,000 from another resident's account through several fraudulent withdrawals. Sperry was charged with 13 counts of theft by unlawful taking.
