Masked Suspects Escape With Cash In South Jersey Bank Heist, Prosecutors Say
Police were asking for help after two armed suspects robbed a bank in Voorhees, authorities said. The robbery happened at the PNC Bank on Haddonfield-Berlin Road on Tuesday, Dec. 17, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay said in a news release. Surveillance footage shows two suspects entering the bank at around 10:22 a.m. One suspect aimed a handgun at a bank employee, while the other approached a teller. An NYPD officer has been charged in a South Jersey road rage incident in which a motorist was shot, authorities said. Hieu Tran, 27, of Yonkers, — an officer with the NYPD — was charged on Thursday, June 6 with first-degree attempted murder and other charges for the shooting of a 30-year-old Voorhees Township man. South Jersey Man Crashes, Found Shot In Vehicle: Police
A driver was shot shortly before he was involved in a multi-vehicle crash in South Jersey, authorities said. The 30-year-old man from Voorhees had a gunshot wound when police arrived at the crash scene at Route 73 and Cooper Road at about 11:15 p.m. on Friday, May 17, Voorhees police said. Victim Jumps In His Own Car Before Teen Thief Crashes Outside NJ Bagel Shop: Police
A man jumped inside his own vehicle to confront the 17-year-old suspect, causing a struggle that police say led to a crash outside a New Jersey bagel shop Monday morning, Nov. 20. The victim had parked his car and left it running as he entered the Jersey Bagel convenience store on Sicklerville Road around 10:55 a.m., Winslow Township Police said.
