A mattress store employee was assaulted and locked in a closet during an armed robbery in Evesham on Wednesday, Dec. 27, authorities said. At 6:30 p.m., an unknown man, wearing all black with a face covering and carrying a black weapon, believed to be a knife, entered the Mattress Warehouse and demanded money, Evesham police said.
