Popular Jersey Shore Vacation Spot Eyes $34M Boardwalk Reconstruction After This Summer North Wildwood is preparing to start rebuilding its popular boardwalk after this summer. The popular vacation spot is finalizing the plans to reconstruct its part of the Wildwoods Boardwalk, according to a post on the city's Facebook page on Monday, Feb. 5. The first phase of the project is expected to begin in the fall and work will happen between 16th and 18th avenues.
